Account
Data retention
Zero data retention (ZDR) is the default on every Straitly account. There is nothing to enable, no header to send, and no plan to upgrade to. Requests and responses pass through the gateway in memory and are discarded once the last token is delivered.
- Zero data retention
- On by default, every account and every key
- Prompts & completions
- Never written to disk or logs
- Training
- Never used to train models, ours or any provider's
- Applies to
- Every endpoint, streaming and non-streaming, including child keys
What we keep
Only the metadata needed for billing and the Activity page:
- Timestamp, model, provider, and the key that made the request.
- Token counts per bucket (fresh input, cache read, cache write, output).
- Latency, status code, and the amount charged.
None of these fields contain prompt or completion text.
Where requests run
- Open-source models run on infrastructure Straitly operates with its compute partners, under the same zero-retention policy.
- Closed models (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google and other labs) are served by the lab itself. Straitly routes these over zero-retention, no-training agreements.
